Who is Ngweds Style?
Ngwedi styles is a 4month old young lad, born and brew in the streets of South Africa ! Ispired by street style/vintagy!therz so much creativty that designers nd fashionistas bring to the table(in telling their different stories, views, and journeys) and that inspires me
I am an Open minded person, have a critical eye in fashion, outgoing, music fanatic
Describe yourself in three words and your brand/style in three words?
Ngwedi styles; is informative, enovative, unique,(breath of fresh air)
Where did your love begin for fashion and how did you know it was your callingFashion has always been in me, but I'd say the strong burn nd desire to pursue it was when I started tertiary( seeing all these different peope nd their different styles)
Where do you think you fit in the industry?Ngwedi styles is more of a fashion mediator betweet fashion and the market(consumer) I believe I knw what ppl want to wear out there...I love adivising ppl on what to wear(fashion styling for different types of occasions), promoting talented designers
What is fashion and style to you? Is it the same thing, if not, what is the difference?Fashion for me is one fasssst moving train of which one has to keep up with, its a way one can be creative through the use of clothes
Style for me, is that signature you put in anything you wear, weather trendy or not ! Nd I believe that in order to have style u must definitely have confidence
Where are you now and where do you think or are planning to head?
I am on the fashion styling point nw; (styling ppl, personal shopping, nd styling boutique showcasings, and display)
I want to host thee biggest fashion show competitions around SA, introduce new talents (market and promote them both nationally nd internationally)
I want to be the biggest fashion mediator nd stylist SA has ever seen
I want to encourage ppl to nurture and support their own and buy local
What is your inspiration?I'm inspired by old school music, colour, movies, the streets, nd different countries (of which I wanna visit; one being Berlin)
What is your all time best buy?My all time best buy is shoes....for me shoes make the outfit (either than that man bags messenger bags are my favourites) oooooh and shades (lennon shades lol)
Top 3 classic items that a male and female should have respectively?Classic buys for women: accesories(earings nd neck pieces), bags, and shoes
For men; shades(lennon shades to b precise lol) man bags, and that fiine cut shirt (chinese collar to be precise)
What are the challenges you face and how do you try to overcome them?Challenges I face; markets not being open minded, investers not being open in investing in something like ngwedi styles
And I intend on. Conquoring these challenges by working my ass off and proving myself to the market and investors/sponsours that this is an enovative approach to fashion and economy.....(Fashion does promote tourism, international investments, and job creation)
What is vintage to you? - i had to askVintage for me: is a state of being, that classic, timeless feel one exudes
Its that classic timeless cut, that intricate silhouette, that organic texture and colour tone that remind me of my childhood or a legend

with confidence, u can wear the clothes, instead of the wearing you
Keep to your signature, be conscious of ur body, be realistic and comfortable
And always rock Lennon shades lol
